My name is Rafael Bonilla, and I am a bilingual counselor with a strong foundation in both academic and faith-based principles. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Science and Biblical Studies from Moody Bible Institute and a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Liberty University. I counsel under the supervision of John Radcliffe, LPCC-S at the NCFF Middleburg Heights office, with the option of telehealth sessions to ensure accessibility and convenience for my clients.
My counseling focus includes anxiety, depression, trauma, substance abuse, and interpersonal challenges. Using a client-centered approach, I strive to tailor therapy to each individual’s unique needs, helping them move toward healing and personal growth. Rooted in the belief that we are all created in God’s image, I am passionate about supporting holistic well-being—spirit, soul, and body. For those who desire, I am honored to integrate faith into the healing process, offering a compassionate and faith-based perspective to guide their journey.
Outside of counseling, I value spending quality time with my wife, traveling, and creating meaningful traditions with friends and family. I am deeply committed to teaching and training in God’s Word and find great joy in mission work, which allows me to serve others and extend hope beyond the counseling room.
