Jim Kopmeyer, BA

Hi, my name is Jim Kopmeyer, and I am a counselor-in-training under the supervision of Mark Yoder, LPCC-S. I hold a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Grove City College and am completing a master’s degree in clinical Mental Health Counseling and Human Development at Walsh University. I counsel at the Middleburg Heights office of North Coast Family Foundation, as well as online through telehealth, offering flexibility and accessibility to meet my clients’ needs.

My faith has instilled in me a profound belief in the immeasurable dignity and value of every person. I am deeply committed to creating a safe, respectful, and comfortable environment where clients can seek help and support without judgment. I strive to build therapeutic relationships grounded in empathy, understanding, and respect. Together, we can work through life’s challenges, navigating toward hope, healing, and your ultimate well-being.

Outside of counseling and studies, I enjoy baseball, exploring the outdoors, and immersing myself in great stories through books, TV, and movies. Most of all, I cherish time with my wife and two little girls as we grow together in love and service to Our Lord.
