My name is Bessie A. Duval. I am originally from New York City and have been living in Ohio now for 40 years. I am married and have three adult children and two grandchildren.
I have a BS in psychology, an MSW and am licensed in Ohio with an LSW. I have studied Christian counseling over the years and incorporate that in my work. I believe that we are spiritual beings and that needs to be considered in therapy. My psychological work supervision, as an Assistant, is by Charles F. Misja, Ph.D., Psychologist.
I prefer to work with women, though I have worked with male clients. I specialize in trauma, depression and anxiety.
I love spending time with my family, traveling and taking road trips. I’m very involved with my church and have a passion for teaching and disciplining women.
