Ever since I can remember I had a compassionate and empathetic heart for others and wanted to help them. When I became a teen and young adult I went through some difficult times and found myself needing help. It was while I was in counseling, I discovered a passion for helping others through counseling. This led me to pursue counseling as a profession.
I went to The University of Akron for a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. I then pursued and received a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Ashland Theological Seminary. I have also received training to be an EMDR Therapist. I am supervised by Keary Carl, LPCC-S.
As well as a Counselor I am a wife, mother, friend, sister, and daughter. In my spare time I do things I enjoy and I volunteer at my church. I enjoy reading fiction novels; riding my bicycle; traveling; working out; drawing; playing piano, guitar, and violin; singing; and most of all spending time with my husband and son.
