Susan Weber, Counselor

My job at NCFF provides me with the opportunity to minister to people in all areas of life and assist them with getting their puzzle pieces of life figured out to make the tapestry that they were meant to have. For the last 12 years at NCFF I have enjoyed working with children and families and helping them to deepen their relationships, break down the generational dysfunction and find healing to continue building onto their tapestry.

Children, teens, individual adults as well as families are the populations I work with. I enjoy working with the areas of depression and anxiety, and a particular area of expertise I have is helping individuals and families cope with the impact of chronic illnesses, disabilities, and terminal illnesses.

Another area in which I received specialized training is working with the deaf and hardof hearing community and utilizing American Sign Language with individuals. I interpret at my church at times for my friend who is deaf and I am involved with a sign language choir where we go to different places and perform music with sign language.

Professionally I have my Masters in Clinical Pastoral Counseling at Ashland Theological Seminary. I have earned my independent endorsement and hold my Professional Clinical Counseling License as well as my certification in Child Life (CCLS).
