My name is Bessie A. Duval. I am originally from New York and have lived in Ohio for thirty- plus years. I have a B.S. in Psychology, an MSW and am a licensed social worker. I am supervised by Charles F. Misja, Ph.D.
I have experience in counseling and teaching, program planning and social work. Over the years I have become increasingly involved in Christian counseling and mentoring, most specifically with women. I have worked with many women to help them through depression, anxiety, and trauma as well as to overcome addictions and behavioral problems. I have also done some work with teenagers, young adults and men. I have spoken at women’s conferences and have done many teachings on various women’s issues.
