Karie Gilley, Counselor

    Karie holds a B.A. in Counseling and Bible from Moody Bible Institute and is a candidate for an M.A. Ed in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Malone University. Karie currently holds a Counselor Trainee status with the Ohio Counselor, Social Worker, and Marriage Family Therapist Board and will be serving as an intern at North Coast Family Foundation.
    Karie desires to counsel and walk alongside of clients in their journey through life. She desires promote hope, healing, and wholeness with clients through the integration of Biblical truths and practical counseling skills. Karie seeks to create a safe and client-centered environment in which clients can explore and navigate their concerns to reach their personal goals. Some of Karie’s clinical interests include: life transitions, adjustment disorders, anxiety, depression, stress, grief/loss, spiritual formation, identity in Christ, self-esteem, women’s issues, premarital counseling, group counseling, and art therapy.
    Karie enjoys spending time with her husband Nate, their dog Hershey, and other family and friends. In her spare time, Karie enjoys running, biking, hiking, being outdoors, art and creative activities, and baking.
