Karie Gilley, Counselor

    Karie is licensed as a Professional Counselor with the State of Ohio Counselor, Social Worker, & Marriage and Family Therapist Board. Karie holds a M.A.Ed. in Clinical Counseling from Malone University and a B.A. in Counseling and Bible from Moody Bible Institute. Karie works under the supervision of Mark Yoder, LPCC-S.
    Karie desires to counsel and walk alongside of clients in their journey through life. She desires to promote hope, healing, and wholeness with clients through the integration of Biblical truths and practical counseling skills. Karie seeks to create a safe and client-centered environment in which clients can explore and navigate their concerns to reach their personal goals. Some of Karie’s clinical interests include: life transitions, adjustment disorders, anxiety, depression, stress, grief/loss, spiritual formation, identity in Christ, self-esteem, women’s issues, premarital counseling, group counseling, and art therapy.
    Karie enjoys spending time with her husband Nate, their chocolate lab Hershey, and other family and friends. In her spare time, Karie enjoys running, biking, hiking, being outdoors, art and creative activities, and baking.
