Jennifer Bentivegna is a passionate Licensed Professional School Counselor. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Master’s degree in School Counseling, both from Xavier University. Jennifer’s previous experience involves counseling in the public school system where she enjoyed helping students through academic, career, and personal/social obstacles. Jennifer employs Reality Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy in order to help others along their unique journeys. She feels privileged to have experience with individuals working through anxiety, the process and aftermath of difficult divorce, abuse, self image struggles, adoption, grief, anger, self-harm, depression, and emotional reactions to physical sickness. Jennifer feels that she has been blessed with the gift of connecting with people and her empathy drives her to work to support, encourage, and instill confidence in others. She believes that God has a purpose for everyone’s life and looks forward to helping those she counsels find that purpose for themselves and live God’s love. Jennifer feels called to work with children, adolescents, and young women and hopes to be a vessel of God’s compassion and love for them. All of Jennifer’s work is done under the supervision of Charles F. Misja, Ph.D., Psychologist.
